Section 13 in Gujarat State Higher Education Council Act, 2016
13. Meeting of Council.
(1)The Council shall meet, as often as may he necessary, at such time and place and observe such rules of procedure for transaction of business at such meetings as may be prescribed by The regulations, but it shall meet at least twice a year.(2)The meetings of The Council shall he convened by the Member-Secretary on The advice of the Chairperson of the Executive Committee.(3)The quorum of the meeting of The Council shall be one-third of the total members of the Council.(4)The decisions at the meetings shall be made by simple majority of the members present and voting.
