Section 13(1) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(1)The Academic Council shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes have the power by regulation of prescribing all courses of study and determining curricula, and shall nave general control on teaching and other educational programmes within the University and shall be responsible for the maintenance of standards thereof.
