Section 11 in The First Statutes of the National Institutes of Technology
11. Powers of the Finance Committee.
- The Finance Committee shall have power to:-(i)examine and scrutinize the annual budget of the Institute prepared by the Director and make recommendations to the Board; and(ii)[ give its views and make its recommendations on any financial proposals or issues affecting the Institute to the Board either on the initiative of the Board or of the Director, or on its own motion.] [Substituted 'give its views and make its recommendations on any financial question affecting the Institute to the Board either on the initiative of the Board or of the Director, or on its own motion.' by Notification No. S.O. 947(E), dated 21.7.2017 (w.e.f. 23.4.2009).]
