Section 6(1) in The Orissa Vigilance Group 'A' and Group 'B' Services (Method of Selection and Conditions of Deputation) Orders, 2004
(1)In order to be eligible to be considered for the post of Inspector of Police, Vigilance, a candidate should have held analogous post in Orissa Police on the executive side or should have put in at least six years of continuous service in the rank of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Orissa Police from the date of appointment with good service record.
