Section 12(1) in The Rajasthan State Commission for Women Act, 1999
(1)The Commission may inquire into any unfair practice, -(a)on receiving a written complaint from any women alleging that she has been subjected to any unfair practice or on a similar complaint from any registered women's organisation;(b)on its own knowledge or information;(c)on any request from the Government;(d)on a complaint lodged by a person having personal knowledge of such unfair practice.
