(1)The Academic Council shall consist of the following persons, namely:-Class I - Ex-officio Members.(a)The Vice-Chancellor;(b)The Director of Collegiate Education;(c)The Director of Technical Education;(d)The Director of Medical Education;(e)The Deans of Faculties; and(f)The Members of the Syndicate who are not otherwise Members of the Academic Council.Class II - Other Members.(a)Five members elected by the teachers of the University from among themselves, of whom two shall be Professors;(b)Three members from among the Deans of Faculties nominated by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor;
