Section 101 in The Orissa Building and Others Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2002
101. Vibrators.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)a building worker, who is in good physical condition, operates vibrators used in concreting work;(b)all practical measures are taken to reduce the amount of vibration transmitted to the operator working in concreting work;(c)when electric vibrators are used in concreting work-(i)such vibrators shall be earthed;(ii)the leads of such vibrators shall be heavily insulated; and(iii)the current shall be switched off when such vibrators are not in use.
