(1)All machinery and plant used in connection with working of a mine shall be of good design, sound construction, suitable material, adequate strength, free from patent defect and properly maintained.(2)The owner, agent and manager shall provide adequate training facilities and training of an adequate number of persons.(3)No person except a qualified engineer or mechanic or a competent person under his supervision shall undertake any work on machinery and plant in which technical knowledge or experience is required.Chapter-XVI Extraction of Methane from Coal Seam, Working or Abandoned Coal Mine
