Section 9(3) in The Punjab Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1993
(3)No balance or weighing instrument other than a balance or weighing instrument of accuracy of Class 'B' or Class II or of higher accuracy as prescribed under the Standards Act shall be used in any of the transaction referred to in sub-rules (1) and (2).Explanation. - The expression 'accuracy Class B' and 'accuracy Class II' shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Seventh Schedule of the Standards of Weights and Measures (General) Rules, 1987.
