Section 22 in The E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016

22. Appeal.

- [(1) Any person aggrieved by an order of suspension or cancellation or refusal of authorisation or its renewal passed by the Central Pollution Control Board or State Pollution Control Board may, within a period of thirty days from the date on which the order is communicated to him, prefer an appeal in Form 7 to the Appellate Authority i.e. the Secretary/ representative of Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi or Environment Secretary of the State Government, respectively.] [Substituted by Notification No. G.S.R. 1349(E), dated 30.10.2017 (w.e.f. 23.3.2016)]
(2)The Appellate Authority may entertain the appeal after expiry of the said period of thirty days if it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.
(3)Every appeal filed under this rule shall be disposed of within a period of sixty days from the date of its filing.
