8. Distribution System Interface with Small Generators.
- The electricity generated by the private developers pertaining to power projects based on [renewable] [Substituted for the expression 'non-conventional' as per Commission's Notification No.TNERC/DC/8-8dated 8.2.2008 (w.e.f 27.2.2008).] energy sources of wind, biomass etc or captive power plants shall be evacuated by interfacing with the distribution system or intra state grid. The voltage levels, connection points and connectivity conditions, safety etc., for such interfacing shall comply with the conditions laid down under Tamil Nadu Electricity Grid Code (TNEGC) and the regulations issued by the Authority in this regard.
