65. Sealing of Voting machine after the poll.
(1)As soon as practicable after the closing of the poll, the Presiding Officer shall close the control unit to ensure that no further vote can be recorded and shall detach the balloting unit from the control unit.(2)The control unit and the balloting unit shall, therefore, be sealed and secured separately in such manner as the Election Commission may direct and the seal used for securing them shall be so affixed that it will not be possible to open the unit without breaking the seals.(3)The Polling Agents present at the polling station who desires to affix their seal may also be permitted to do so.
