Section 49(2) in The Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1998
(2)If at any time it appears to the Government that any Marketing Committee, by reason of the resignation of all or a majority of the members thereof, is unable to discharge the functions conferred or imposed upon it by or under this Act, the Government may, by notification, nominate persons from the respective category of members to fill the vacancies of the members who have resigned and the person so nominated shall hold office for the remainder of the term of the Marketing Committee.
