Section 17(1) in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Act, 2005
(1)The Registrar shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board, from amongst the persons, having status not below the rank of a professor of the University and who are academician in the field of veterinary, animal or fishery sciences.
