17. The Registrar.
(1)The Registrar shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board, from amongst the persons, having status not below the rank of a professor of the University and who are academician in the field of veterinary, animal or fishery sciences.(2)The Registrar shall receive such remuneration and other emoluments, as may be prescribed and shall not, during the tenure of his office, accept any other remuneration or emolument from any other source.
