Section 56(3) in Cuttack Development Authority (Planning and Building Standards) Regulations, 2001
(3)The mezzanine floor shall(a)have direct light and ventilation to the extent of 10 percent of the floor area;(b)be so constructed as not to interfere under any circumstances with the ventilation of the space over and under it;(c)not be used as a kitchen wholly or partly, and(d)in no case be closed so as to make it liable to be converted into unventilated compartments.
