6. Issue of duplicate licences.
(1)If a licence under Section 4 is lost, stolen or destroyed, the licensee shall forthwith report the matter to the competent authority by whom the licence was issued, or as the case may be, last renewed and may make an application to that authority for the issue of a duplicate licence.(2)The application shall be accompanied by a Treasury Receipt or a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft, as the case may be, showing the fee for the issue of a duplicate licence as specified in Rule 8 has been paid.(3)On receipt of the application, the competent authority shall grant to the applicant a duplicate copy of the licence duly stamped "duplicate" in red ink.
