ORDER
Information Sought:
The appellant filed an online RTI application on 01.10.2018 seeking marks secured by him (Roll No. 1111874) in individual paper of AAO LDCE - 2018 examination held from 05.07.2018 to 08.07.2018.
The CPIO, vide online reply dated 30.10.2018, informed the appellant that arrangements are under process for communicating marks. Being dissatisfied, the appellant filed first appeal dated 30.10.2018. FAA, vide order dated 30.11.2018, stated that sending information on marks, through SMS, to all individual is already in process.
Grounds for Second Appeal:
The appellant filed second appeal u/s 19 of the Act on the ground of unsatisfactory reply furnished by the respondent. He requested the Commission to direct the CPIO to provide the information sought for.
Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The appellant submitted that although the SMS consisting of marks was received by him, the said SMS did not specify the Roll no. or any other details pertaining to the candidate. He further requested the Commission to direct the respondent to provide hard copy of the marks secured by the appellant in individual paper of AAO LDCE - 2018 examination.Page 2 of 4
CIC/POSTS/A/2018/636899 The respondent submitted that hard copy of the marks secured by the appellant has already been sent to him vide letter dated 20.10.2020. The appellant, however, contested not to have received the aforesaid letter.
Decision:
The Commission, after hearing the submissions of both the parties and perusing the records, directs the respondent to furnish a copy of their letter dated 20.10.2020, along with all necessary documents, to the appellant via email within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under intimation to the Commission. (Email address of the appellant: [email protected]) With the above observations, the appeal is disposed of.
Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
The appeal, hereby, stands disposed of.
