Section 25 in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016
25. The Faculties / Schools.
(1)The University shall have such Faculties / Schools as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)Each Faculty / School shall consist of such departments of teaching as may be prescribed by the Statutes;(3)The constitution and functions of the Faculties / Schools shall be prescribed by the Statutes.(4)(a)there shall be a Dean for each Faculty or School who shall be appointed by the Executive Council from among the members of the faculty concerned on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor;(b)the terms and conditions of office of the Dean shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
