48. Stage switch board.
(1)When cinema premises are used for dramatic performances, a switch board fitted with the necessary switches, cut-outs and other fittings for the control and regulation of the stage lighting shall be fixed in some convenient position overlooking the stage.(2)Connections shall be made where possible at the back of the board and there shall be a space of not less than 90 cms. between the wall and the back of the board or such larger space as may be necessary to ensure the thimbles and connections being at all times easily accessible, or, as an alternative in the case of wires not larger than 7/18 S .W. G., provision may be made by hingeing the board for rendering the back of the board accessible.
