49. Amendment of Act 24 of 1973.
- In the North-Eastern Hill University Act, 1973, -(i)in section 1, in sub-section (2), for the words "States of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh", the words "State of Meghalaya" shall be substituted;(ii)in section 2, in clause (l), for the words "States of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh", the words "State of Meghalaya" shall be substituted;(iii)in section 6, in sub-section (1), for the words "States of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh", the words "State of Meghalaya" shall be substituted.THE SCHEDULE(See section 30)THE STATUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY
