Section 7 in Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008
7. Reporting Officers.
(1)The Agricultural Officers shall be the reporting officers, in respect of the paddy land in the area under their jurisdiction and it shall be their responsibility to report the Revenue Divisional Officer regarding any act in violation of the provisions of this Act, If any paddy land is kept fallow during any agricultural season, the Agricultural Officer shall inform that matter also to the Committee.(2)Willful omission to make a report under sub-section (1), regarding the contravention of the provisions of the Act shall be deemed to be an offence under section 23.
