Section 17(a) in The Major Port of Tuticorin (Harbour Craft) Rules, 1976
(a)No licensed harbor craft shall ply in the outer roads.(i)Between the hours of 6.00 p.m and 6.00 a.m without the previous permission of the Deputy Conservator.(ii)When a storm warning indicating bad weather or high seas is displayed from the Port flag staff.
