Section 55(1) in Kerala Value Added Tax Rules, 2005
(1)Any sum ordered to be forfeited to the Government by an order issued by the assessing authority under sub-section (1) of Section 72 shall be paid either by cash to the assessing authority or by remitting into the Government Treasury or be paid by means of crossed cheque or crossed demand draft in favour of the assessing authority concerned.
