(3)All such officers, sarpanches, members or servants as are referred to in sub-section (1) shall be bound,-(a)to take all reasonable measures in their power to prevent the commission of such breaches which they may know, or have reason to believe, are about or likely to be committed; and(b)to assist the Commissioner in carrying out the provisions of this Act.
