Section 29(1) in The Rajasthan Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Act, 2000
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, research programmes in the University shall carry on research (fundamental as well as applied) on the problems of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and other allied sciences for the purpose of aiding the development of Agriculture and for the benefit of rural population in the State.
