Section 13(5) in The Howrah Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(5)Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing provisions of this section, the State Government may, at any time in the case of any officer appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (2) as the Commissioner or as the Controller of Finances or as the Chief Auditor, terminate his appointment as such :Provided that if, in the case of any such officer, the Mayor-in-Council so decides, the State Government shall terminate the appointment of such officer.
