Section 13(2) in The Orissa Statistics and Economics Service Rules, 1979
(2)[ (a) For direct recruitment and promotion in respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, the procedure prescribed in Orissa Reservation of vacancies in Posts and Services (for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1975 and the rules made thereunder shall be followed;(b)for direct recruitment to the service, Class-II for ex-servicemen, sportsmen and physically handicapped persons, procedure as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time shall be followed.]
