Section 19 in THE THUNCHATH EZHUTHACHAN MALAYALAM UNIVERSITY ACT, 2013
19. Constitution of the Research Council- (1)Vice – Chancellor shall be the Chairman of
the Research Council, which may have the following members, namely.(a)DeansofFaculties;(b)Directors of Schools;(c)Six distinguished Professors one each from the field of literature, fine arts,folklore, music, traditional knowledge systems and media to be nominated by the chancellor.(2)There shall be three Vice – Chairmen for the Research Council in three broadareas of literature and culture to be nominated by the Chancellor from among the membersnominated.
