Section 47(2) in The Orissa Land Reforms Act, 1960

(2)The [amount] [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 30 of 1976.] in respect of the interest of the person to whom the surplus lands relate shall be the aggregate of the following:
(a)[fifty per centum of the market value] [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 9 of 1974.] of tanks, wells and of structures of a permanent nature situate in land;
(b)[fifty per centum of the market value] [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 9 of 1974.] of trees standing on the land; and
(c)value of land to be determined in the following manner, namely; [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 9 of 1974.]
  Extent of surplus land   Rate of[amount] [Substituted vide Orissa Act No. 30 of 1976.]
(i) For the first ten standard acres ... Rupees eight hundred per standard acre
(ii) For the next ten standard acres ... Rupees six hundred per standard acre
(iii) For the next ten standard acres ... Rupees four hundred per standard acre
(iv) For the rest ... Rupees two hundred per standard acre]
Explanation. - In determining the market value, the Revenue Officer shall, as far as practicable, be guided by the provision contained in Section 23 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (1 of 1894).
