Section 6(i) in The Rules for Grant of Special Scholarships to Students of Backward Classes, 1963
(i)The Director shall at the ensuing of academic year issue a notice specifying number of seats available in various institutions and the due date of receipt of applications. Applications in response to such notices shall be received by him or any other authority specified by him. No applications received after the expiry of the notice period shall be entertained.
