Section 40(1) in The M.P. Shops and Establishments Act, 1958
(1)Every Local Authority empowered under Section 34 shall appoint a sufficient number of persons with the prescribed qualifications as Inspectors for the area subject to its jurisdiction, as it may deem fit, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act.
