Section 3(1) in Tamil Nadu Town Panchayat Office Assistants and Menials (Leave) Rules, 1988
(1)Office Assistant of the Town Panchayat referred to herein shall mean and include all services in the appointments specified in the Tamil Nadu Town Panchayat Establishment (Qualification and Recruitment of Basic Servants) Rules, 1988, who are borne on a regular time scale of pay.
