(5)The Executive Engineer (Electrical), shall be incharge of all street lighting works in Mandis and internal and external electrification of all building works including maintenance thereof, and will be responsible to the [Superintending Engineer] [See Legislative Supplement Part III dated 23rd June, 1989.] for the proper execution of all such works according to approved designs, specifications and within the sanctioned financial provisions, irrespective of the fact whether such works are financed by the Board or by the Committees.Note. - The powers and duties of the Executive Engineer, Electrical, Assistant Engineer, Electrical and the Sectional Officer, Electrical will be analogous to those of Executive Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Sectional Officer (Civil) respectively, in respect of the execution of work assigned to them.
