Section 38(b) in The Statutes of the Punjabi University
(b)All whole-time category 'C' employees shall retire on reaching the age of 60 years; provided that extension may be allowed up to the age of 65 years on the recommendation of the Officer concerned and on production of a certificate of physical fitness from a Medical Officer of the rank of an Assistant Surgeon after every two years.
