Section 17(2) in The Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Act, 2004
(2)Registrar shall be ,-(i)an academician in the field of veterinary and animal and fishery sciences not lower in rank than that of a Professor of the University; or(ii)an officer of the State Government not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to Government.
