Section 159 in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
159. President of a [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] may invite certain persons to attend its meetings.
(1)The President of a [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] may for purposes of consultation, invite any person other than an office bearer of any political party having experience and specialised knowledge of any subject under the consideration of the [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] to attend the meeting of the [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.]. Such person shall have the right to speak in, and otherwise to take part in the proceedings of such meeting but shall not, by virtue of this Section be entitled to vote at any such meeting.(2)A person attending a meeting under sub-Section (1) shall be entitled to such allowances as may be prescribed.
