Section 5 in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885
5. Transfer of Ownership.
(a)Where the ownership of any Boat registered under these rules is transferred ,the transferor shall within 14 days of transfer report the fact of transfer to the Registration Officer in writing ; and(b)the certificate of Registration for endorsement along with the fees prescribed under Rule 32 ; and(c)these transfers shall be mutated by the Registration Officer.
