Section 18(ii) in The Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act, 1948
(ii)no compensation shall be paid in respect of any [livestock or bird] which, when it was brought into the [State] of [Punjab] [Substituted for the words 'East Punjab' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.], was affected with the disease on account of which it was destroyed.
