Section 12 in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
12. Classification of Officers and staff of University.
- The Personnel of the University shall be classified under one of the following categories -(a)Executives, Academic Officers and other Officers, who have the administrative authority and who are designated as such by or under this Act.(b)Academic staff members who have duties of an academic nature, such as teaching, research and extension education and who hold professional, rank of Professor, Associate Professor, Research Officer, Assistant Professors, Research Assistant, Lecturer or Demonstrator or the like, as may be designated by or under this Act.(c)Ministerial staff members who are in the service of the University and not included in the categories (a) and (b) above.
