Section 23(1) in The United Provinces Agriculturists Relief Act 1934
(1)An appeal shall lie to the District Judge from an order of a Collector or Assistant Collector passed under this Chapter. An appeal shall lie from the order of a civil court passed under this chapter to the court to which original decrees passed by such courts are ordinarily appealable, and where such decrees are appealable to more courts than one, to the court of lowest jurisdiction -[(1-A). A District Judge may(i)transfer any appeal Filed before him under sub-section (1) to any Additional District-Judge, Civil Judge or Additional Civil Judge under his administrative control, and (ii) withdraw any appeal so transferred, and either hear and dispose of it himself or transfer it to a court under his administrative control competent to dispose of it.(1-B). Any Additional District Judge, Civil Judge or Additional Civil Judge may hear and dispose of any appeal transferred to him under sub-section (1-A) in like manner as the District Judge.] [Added by section 2 of U.P.
