18. Maintenance Officer.
(1)The District Social Welfare Officer shall function as Maintenance Officer for purposes of this Act.(2)The Maintenance Officer shall represent on behalf of the applicant, if he so desires, during the proceedings of the Tribunal, or the Appellate Tribunal, as the case may be.
