Section 1 in The U.P. Advertisements Tax Act, 1981
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Advertisement Tax Act, 1981.(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [ En forced on 1st March, 1983, Vide Notification No. XXX-E-B-6(8)/78, dated 13th Jan., 1983, published in U.P. Gazette, (Extra) dated 17th Jan., 1983] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf and different dates may be so appointed for different provisions of this Act, or for different areas of the State.
