Section 86(2) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Rules, 1975
(2)It shall be competent for the Board to accept donation to institute awards, prizes, scholarships and merit certificates to the students for outstanding performance in different subjects on examination and on the recommendation of the Executive Council of the Board.
