Section 32(1) in The Maharashtra Management of Irrigation Systems by Farmers Rules, 2006
(1)The General Body of the Water Users' Association shall, at least meet immediately before commencement of each irrigation season. Every meeting of the General Body shall be presided over and regulated by the Chairperson and in his absence, by such one of the members present of the Managing Committee as may be chosen in such meeting to be Chairperson for the occasion.
