58. Existing Teachers and Staff.
(1)All posts of Hojai College including the vacant posts are transferred immediately to the Rabindranath Tagore University with effect from the date of commencement of this Act.(2)The existing teachers and staff of the Hojai College shall constitute a special cadre with respect to their service conditions at the time of their appointments.(3)All pension matters of the present and past teachers and staff of Hojai College (now upgraded to Rabindranath Tagore University) shall be handled by the Directorate of Higher Education.
