Section 3 in The Rajasthan Technical University Act, 2006
3. Incorporation of the University.
(1)The Chancellor and the first Vice-Chancellor of the University and the first members of the Board and the Academic Council and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such officer or membership, will constitute a body corporate by the name of "Rajasthan Technical University" and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and may by that name sue and be sued.(2)The University shall be competent to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, to lease, sell or otherwise transfer or dispose of any movable or immovable property, which may vest in or be acquired by it for the purposes of the University, and to contract and do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act:Provided that no such lease, sale or transfer of such property shall be made without the prior approval of the State Government.(3)The Headquarters of the University shall be at Kota, which shall be the headquarters of the Vice-Chancellor.
