27. Fee for compounding of offences.
(1)The fee for compounding of offences committed under the Act shall be as prescribed in Schedule XI.(2)Legal Metrology Officer who has registered the offence shall not compound that offence :Provided that the Controller may authorize any Legal Metrology Officer for compounding the offence registered by him in certain cases.
