Section 56(1) in The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act, 1989
(1)No person shall be appointed Librarian except on the recommendation of a selection committee constituted for the purpose and consisting of:-(i)the Vice-Chancellor, ex-officio Chairman; and(ii)two persons having special knowledge of Library Science and Library Administration, not being in the service of the University, to be nominated by the Executive Council.
