Section 14(a) in The Maharashtra Irrigation (Pimpri Water Supply) Rules, 1964
(a)he may install a meter to the service pipe from any attachment charged for in accordance with rule 12, and after 24 hours' notice, the charge for the water supply shall be made in accordance with rules 8 and 9;
